‘Banana Palm with Butterflies’

The latest special release from my exhibition archive is now valid for 6 weeks only until Wednesday, May 22nd.

Iconic artwork ‘Banana Palm with Butterflies’, a re-worked artwork from my archive is signed and editioned. The current retail value of this size artwork is $5100. Banana Palm with Butterflies is currently available 4 weeks only at $650 AUD until sold out May 22nd, 2019.

This is my sixth, special ‘Archive’ Collectors edition within the ‘Mother Gaia Collection’.

Art Nouveau inspired, this contemporary  artwork features famed Banana Palm design, created by Dorothy Draper in 1937. ‘Brazilliance’ was created initially for the Arrowhead Springs Hotel in California, re-designed in 1942 for the Beverly Hills Hotel and continues to inspire artworks and decor to this current day.

‘Exotic Mandala’ collection was created in 2010. My muse was painted over 14 hours to match my pre-painted canvas hanging behind her.  Butterflies are added, then I photograph the completed installation.

$40 from each sale of ‘Banana Palm with Butterflies’ will also be donated to ‘Catherine House’, offering accommodation and support services for women experiencing homelessness.

I do hope you take this sixth opportunity to own a beautiful piece of my work to add to your collection and treasure it for the years to come.

Framing ideas

I recommend taking your artwork straight to the framer, the artwork is wrapped in acid free tissue paper which will prevent the paper from discolouration, however it's not a permanent storage solution.  I usually frame in a white box frame, float mounting the archival photo rag.  There are many options for framing so please discuss this with your framer for options that suit you and your home.

Adelaide based framer Atkins Pro Lab will frame your artwork in my suggested float mounted frame in white at $300, please email them with your order number to arrange directly:
