Ocean Movement is a worldwide series of large-scale human installations created on beaches to open conversation around place, heritage and environment. Each work brings people together in a living sculpture of hope, inviting communities to connect through art, presence and shared care for the ocean.
The inaugural installation, Leafy Seadragon, will take place on Port Willunga Beach this April, where 888 people will gather to form South Australia’s marine emblem in a powerful act of collective expression. Professionally captured through aerial photography and film, this first installation marks the beginning of a global movement dedicated to ocean awareness, beauty and belonging.
At the completion of each installation, we place the strength of prayer over the ocean — a shared offering of hope, reverence and healing.
You are invited to be part of Ocean Movement by participating in the installation or helping to fund the movement and its conservation message. Together, we can create a living legacy for the sea.
Whether you choose to stand with us in the artwork or support the movement through funding, your presence matters.
